Certificate II in Tourism camp - Moreton Island

 

​Monday 11 to Wednesday 13, September

BrisbaneSDE is offering senior students an opportunity to achieve a Certificate II in Tourism contributing four Queensland Certificate of Education points whilst enjoying a fully VETiS funded adventure. Students must still be eligible for this funding. Year 10 student can apply, however, Years 11 and 12 will take priority.

The camp program over the three days addresses most of the necessary practical criteria for the Certificate II in Tourism. The theory component will be delivered by personnel from CTIA and will consist of approximately 30 hours of work. Online scheduled lessons will take place after school hours and students are required to attend and participate during these lessons. Students attending the camp and completing all of the necessary theory and practical training will be eligible to gain the Certificate II in Tourism which will contribute towards their QCE. This Certificate will contribute four points toward the QCE.

 
As numbers are limited, please advise in writing by Friday, 23 June if you intend to undertake this Certificate II in Tourism course.
 

The camp is to be held in Week 10, of Term 3. All necessary documentation must be returned no later than Friday, 14 July.
