Student Clubs at BrisbaneSDE are a great way for students to meet likeminded students with common interest. Students can join clubs at any time throughout the year. Important to note:

Students can register for a maximum of 2 clubs.
All clubs take place online, during lunchtimes only.
Student Clubs are supervised by BrisbaneSDE staff at all times.
Students can register their interest to join a club via a form shared in Connect Notices.

Club name	Year level	Information
Global Studies and Debate	7-12	Student lead discussions, debates and presentations on political and social issues such as the social issues, politics, religion, climate change & more!
Pride	7-12	A space for LGBTIQ+ students and allies to participate in activities, foster wellbeing and make new friends. Permission is required: consent form
Writers	5-12	Creative writing group - for any kind of writing, including fiction, short stories, poetry. Share your work, play group writing games and get feedback.
BrisbaneSDE's Got Talent	5-12	Help coordinate our school’s annual talent competition, BrisbaneSDE's Got Talent (BGT)
Neurodiversity	7-12	A space where neurodiverse students and allies can celebrate, discuss their challenges, seek advice, and support from others with similar experiences in a safe and inclusive space, while connecting to their peers.
Speech and Drama	7-12	All the World’s a stage! Want to be more than just a player on the stage of life? Then come and join a bunch of likeminded people to share your stories, play around with dramatic possibilities, and build your confidence. Make the world your stage through Speech and Drama.
