Students eligible to trial for Queensland Schools Sports Representative Teams must be approved by BrisbaneSDE before participation.
District and Regional Sports Update for all BrisbaneSDE families
Is your young person interested in representative sport?
Do they want the opportunity to participate in district regional/state/national level in their selected sporting competitions?
Here is the information for trialling for regional sport -
- You may have to trial for your sport district first,
- Or you can automatically trial for regional sports.
All students that are in the Greater Brisbane region need to trial in the Central Sharks district and then leads to Metropolitan East Region.
Every student outside greater Brisbane Area will be in other regions -

Cross Country Districts and Regional Trials – Primary and High School - through early Term 2 – must enquire and nominations quickly – contact my email below for any relevant information .

My role at BrisbaneSDE as the Sport Coordinator is to assist you in to ensure our student have every possibility to attend your young person’s local sports district or regional tryouts. I understand that you may have difficult to determine your child’s district or region and I am happy to assist with any challenges.
