Brisbane School of Distance Education does not have a catchment area. Any Australian resident or citizen is eligible to enrol.
Yes, students of parents who travel for work may be eligible for enrolment under certain conditions.
Eligibility for overseas enrolments depends on your circumstances. Please contact our enrolments team to discuss your situation.
Travelling students may be eligible to enrol. However, as students are required to log in to lessons from 8 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday, this may not be a suitable option.

The best way to contact teachers at BrisbaneSDE is through email, as teachers may be on lessons. Select the following link to access contact information.
You will hear from your teacher/s after your timetable has been finalised if enrolling during the term. If you enrol to start at the beginning of a term you will hear from your teacher after the holiday break.
Some subjects require textbooks, many are online and fees for these are part of your enrolment fees. Check the Textbook requirements page for information on which ones you may need. If you are starting later in the year, check with the teachers as to whether you need to purchase them. Please note that BrisbaneSDE does not provide/send any textbooks.
Your login details will be emailed to you when your application has been finalised. Detailed information can be found on the How to Videos.
Lessons are accessed through the Microsoft Teams.
If you are in years 7-12 check the Daily Timetables page for instructions on how to access your lesson details. If you are in years P-6 check your school email account for information from your teacher/s.
Check the Work Rate Calendar page for each subject. They contain schedules of when assignments and work is due.
Lesson materials are accessed through OneNote. For instructions on how to access OneNote, check the How to Videos.
